Wine Tasting Notes:

A rich and full bodied Chardonnay with bold citrus and minerality on the nose and a steely backbone. Divine butterscotch and toasty notes followed by oak flavours and plenty of fruit characters make this a wine to savour while collecting all the wonderful flavours.

Technical Wine Notes:

Location: Constantia

Barrel maturation for 10 months.

Malo-lactic fermentation completed in barrique .

12 months 100 % New French

Kingklip, Crayfish, Rabbit, Chicken, Turkey, Pastas, Veal, Pork and Soft Cheeses

Vinification:

Barrel maturation for 10 months. All juices were fermented and malo-lactic fermentation completed in barrique. Barrique: 12 months 100 % New French from Dargaud & Jaegle, Taransaud and Francois Freres. All barrels are made from French Allier forest wood (tight grain) with a medium to long, slow toasting.
