A delicious and incredibly smooth Shiraz with hints of cigar, white pepper and spice on the nose followed by intense Vanilla. A deep garnet red colour wine full of ripe berry characters and an amazing aftertaste which leaves one longing for more.

Food pairing for 2009 Steenberg Shiraz:

Ideal partner to fillet au poivre and beef bourguignonne – in fact all red meats grilled over open flames.  This wine will continue to develop and will reward cellaring up to 8 years. Enjoy!
