Wine Tasting Notes

A smoky on the nose Shiraz with a deep ruby colour and delicate spice, black cherries and hints of mint.

The palate is packed with fruit and the spice follows through, complimented by firm tannins and well balanced oak.

Technical  notes for 2010 Groot Constantia Shiraz

The wines were matured for 14 months in 30% in New French Oak, 30% 2nd fill and 40% 3rd fill barrels.

Served with kudu steaks wrapped in bacon and grilled.
